Sami Fissehaye

How did you get into construction?

I got into construction because of my father. He was a construction contractor specializing in carpentry.  He would bring site plans home and I would sit there and watch him look them over.  I was very fascinated by the whole process.

Who or what inspires you?

My father inspires me. He works relentlessly and very hard to support our whole family. His family comes first and it shows.

What is one thing on your bucket list and will you accomplish it?

Academically, I will take my PE exam to get my PE certification.

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

I crossed the Sahara Desert. It is about 9 million square meters (~ 3.5 million square miles).
