What is your favorite project you worked on and why?
My favorite project was the Pine Hall dormitory at Wheaton College. Not only was this project one of the first of its kind being a Passive House project, but it was also in the town where I live so I was able to be more engaged with the community outreach. When those in our town asked questions, I was able to help answer those questions and explain what was happening.

Who or what inspires you?
My children are what inspires me. They have all sorts of crazy ideas that keep my brain & my energy levels from being idle for too long.

What is one thing on your bucket list and will you accomplish it?
A bucket list item I have is to get scuba certified. I have been snorkeling more times than I can count, but being scuba certified would enable me to see the rest of what I’m missing up close and personal. I can accomplish it, but the water up here is so cold that I’m hesitant!

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
The craziest thing I’ve ever done was skydive. In 2015, I made a list of a handful of things I wanted to complete; climb a mountain, drive a race car, hang glide; but the one thing I was most excited about was skydiving. The moment when the plane door opens and you are staring out at the openness is a moment unmet by anything else.
