Daniel Costello

C.O.R.E. / Project Engineer

Daniel Costello

Who, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? And why?

Bill Russel because I am a huge Celtics fan, and he is a living legend. It would be amazing to meet him and hear all the stories he has to tell.

How did you get into construction?

My family’s owned a painting company since 1965. At a young age, my father would occasionally bring me into work, and I would get to see all the projects they were working on. I always loved when he would bring me in with him and I became fascinated by the industry. Once I was legally eligible, I began working for Costello Painting and Contracting full-time every summer, and during most school breaks. I went on to Temple University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology. And that’s my story.

Who or what inspires you?

My parents inspire me greatly.

What is one thing on your bucket list and will you accomplish it?

One thing on my bucket list is to learn how to ski. Most of my friends know how to ski or snowboard and they are very good at it, so I usually have to sit out of any ski trips they take. I plan to start taking lessons this winter and hopefully I can be a competent skier by the end of the season and continue to improve moving forward.
