Who, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? And why?
Bill Belichick. Clearly, I’m an avid Patriots fan. That aside, I think it would be awesome to pick his brain on his approach to not only the game but coaching and managing. With the success over the last 2 decades, it’s evident that his system works. Not only have there been tremendous leaders who have come and gone, but there have also been many different personalities that have flourished in the system. Walking out the door, I would also ask what really happened with Malcolm Butler and his benching in the Super Bowl. Timing is everything and this would allow a quick exit if there are flying chairs.

How did you get into construction?
From a young age, I have been immersed in the construction industry. With a background starting as a 13-year-old fixing the copy machine at an electrical distributor, I spent a lot of time learning about submittals (mostly copying at first). Over the course of the next 9 summers, what started much like an internship at Staples Copy and Print turned into a knowledge of the lighting industry both up and downstream. This coupled with a degree in Civil Engineering led me to a job site within 2 weeks of graduation and the rest is history.

Who or what inspires you?
I am inspired by innovation and yet motivated by progress.

What is one thing on your bucket list and will you accomplish it?
I have been fortunate to experience a lot of my “Bucket List” items at a young age and so much so that the term “Bucket List” is probably a little out of context. Instead, let’s call it a To-Do list. Other than the standard aspiration of traveling to all continents and several countries, I would say that swimming with sharks tops the list (albeit in a cage). I have always been addicted to Shark Week and with Chatham now surfacing in the playlist, it seems that this is becoming more and more possible every summer! So yes, someday it WILL happen.
