What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?

It’s a secret.

Who, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? And why?

The guys from Top Gear: Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and Captain Slow, sometimes referred to as James May.  Between their experiences with dream cars, extensive world travel and, of course, arguing over their opinions, getting them talking over some good food and drink would make for a very memorable dinner.

What is your favorite project you worked on and why?

My favorite project is the renovation and expansion of the Harvard Art Museums.  This project consolidates the Fogg, Arthur M. Sackler and Busch-Reisinger Museums into one newly renovated and expanded space which was meticulously designed by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop.  The building itself is a work of art with many unique elements such as a fully restored 1920’s brick façade, complete with a rebuild of the period-specific windows, a rebuilt travertine courtyard with double-barrel vaulted plaster ceilings, an Alaskan Yellow Cedar rain screen system and a structural glass ‘cap’ to allow plenty of light into the building.  The end result is an absolutely stunning building, both inside and out and that’s aside from the world-class artwork that’s on display within the galleries.

How did you get into construction?

I can’t say for sure when I started actively working towards a career in construction, but I can state with confidence that it all started with Legos

What is one thing on your bucket list and will you accomplish it?

I would really like to travel across the country by car (including Alaska) and very likely with a camper in tow.  I’ve camped down most of the eastern seaboard and hope to accomplish the full cross-country trip someday.
