What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?
As a child, I took karate, muay Thai, and mixed-martial-arts for 12 years – I have 3 black belts!

What is your favorite project you worked on and why?
My favorite project would be the New Passive House Residence Hall at Wheaton College.  This was the first project I was apart of as an intern, and also where I simultaneously went to school! It was so great working with owners from Wheaton that I was already familiar with, all the while learning the processes and procedures of a construction project and gaining great experience.

How did you get into construction?
My father has always worked in construction, so when I saw an internship opportunity with Commodore Builders I thought it sounded interesting and decided I’d give it a shot – I haven’t looked back since!

Who or what inspires you?
My daughter inspires me to get up and do my best each and every day. It is because of her that I will never give up on elevating myself and my family.
