How did you get into construction?

I joined the theater department’s stage crew in high school and quickly got hooked on set design and construction. In college, I spent every spare moment I had working in the scene shop. Now, I try to get involved with any form of construction I can find, whether that’s sets, hiking trails, houses, or larger buildings.

Who or what inspires you?

I’m inspired by adventure and the outdoors! Exploring a new beautiful place is always so exciting and really makes you appreciate the world.

What is one thing on your bucket list and will you accomplish it?

One day I’d love to own my own boat and sail it wherever I wanted in the world.

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

After I graduated college, I packed my life into a backpack and joined a trail crew in Colorado. I spent the next 5 months living in the woods, building trails, and hiking all around the state!
