What is your favorite project you worked on and why?
The Wheaton College Passive House Dorm Project. It introduced me to energy-efficiency building, which I have found fascinating.

How did you get into construction?
My dad ran a residential contracting company growing up, which piqued my interest in construction and design. I studied engineering and found that I didn’t enjoy the designing aspect as much as actually building. So, when I graduated, I pursued jobs with contractors rather than design firms.

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
Packed a duffel and my cat and moved to San Francisco with no housing or job lined up.
