Who, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? And why?
My family.  Now more than ever, gathering around the same table has proven to be challenging.  Having grown up with a big family, I have always enjoyed the opportunities to sit around the table and enjoy a home-cooked meal.  There is always a sense of comedic relief throughout the meal while everyone is able to catch up with each other and leave feeling full.

What is your favorite project you worked on and why?
The National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, DC.  Every project has its own set of challenges and unique aspects that the team must overcome, and this project was no different.  This project was especially unique in the sense that the goal was far greater than reaching substantial completion and Certificate of Occupancy at the end of the project.  This museum would be visited by millions of people a year from all around the world capturing hundreds of years’ worth of history.

How did you get into construction?
I was first exposed to the construction industry during a college internship with a scheduling consulting firm.  I was fascinated with the level of detail that went into construction scheduling, some of the sheer size of heavy civil construction projects, and the number of people involved in delivering a project.  I was fortunate enough to work several internships with this firm and shortly after college, decided I wanted to learn more about the industry.  I began working for a general contractor, focused on the cost and financial functions of the business.  After visiting several different active construction sites, I was able to confirm my interest in the construction industry.

What is one thing on your bucket list and will you accomplish it?
Cycle across half of Massachusetts, through Cape Cod and out to Provincetown.  With any luck, I will accomplish this later this year or next.
