Who, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? And why?

I would love to have dinner with Kobe Bryant. I’ve been a huge basketball fan all my life and aside from his talent, I’ve always admired Kobe’s work ethic, focus and determination. It would be great to pick his brain on how he approached everything he set his mind to.

What is your favorite project you worked on and why?

MIT SOMA Site 5. We had such a great team, everyone worked hard, pulled their weight but also had a good time along the way. There was always good morale amongst the workers out in the field which made for a great overall project.

How did you get into construction?

I studied Civil Engineering at school because I wanted to do something tangible with numbers. After a couple internships on the design side, I realized I didn’t want to sit behind a desk my whole career, which lead me to construction. I enjoy being out with the workers in the field and learning something new every day.

What is one thing on your bucket list and will you accomplish it?

Two of my good friends went on an African Safari for their honeymoon and since hearing their stories, I’ve wanted to do it. They had an incredible time and I can’t imagine the rush you get from that experience. I hope to accomplish it but we’ll see how life plays out.
