Jeremy Hansford

Superintendent

Jeremy Hansford

Who, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? And why?
George Washington. I like history, if we do not learn from the past, we are destined to repeat it. Washington, I am sure had some doubters as he was helping to create this great country and as superintendents; there is always somebody second-guessing you and another ready to follow. I would be curious to hear how he handled it. For the record, I am in NO way comparing myself to him!

What is your favorite project you worked on and why?
The Bain Capital 44th-floor Renovation was an interesting project. We added a communicating stair from 43 to 44, which allowed me the opportunity to get immersed in the structural drawings. I think every job has at least one interesting aspect to it from which I can learn.

Who or what inspires you?
Taking a project from a set of plans to a completed, tangible product that the client needs/wants is a great sense of accomplishment.

What is one thing on your bucket list and will you accomplish it?
Visit the Grand Canyon and yes, I will.
