David Presbrey

Superintendent

David Presbrey

Who, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? And why?
My father. He died suddenly and I never got a chance to say “Thank You” and “Goodbye”.

What is your favorite project you worked on and why?
Johnson and Whales Physicians Assistance building in Providence. The building was a rehab and new addition of an old jewelry manufacturing building. The design was great. Many challenges with this project, however when all was said and done I learned as a Superintendent and person what it takes to get through difficult times.

How did you get into construction?
My father was an Architect and owned his own business for 50 years and he inspired me to get into the industry. I was always hands-on and never really pictured myself with a pencil in my hand more than a hammer.

Who or what inspires you?
My wife inspires me. She is a first-grade teacher who works very hard with her students. She also works very hard at home keeping our own children focused.
