About This Project

The Department of Conservation & Recreation’s new North Point Maintenance Facility is a pre-engineered building featuring 21 vehicle storage bays, a large maintenance bay, an outdoor yard area, and an attached office area. The team established an integrated quality control program with the utilization of BIM and Open space to identify issues early on and reduce costs to the client. Consistent value engineering was conducted by working closely with end-users, designers, and subcontractors to effectively use funds and reduce waste. The new facility will improve the visitor experience in the Charles River Basin and improve the efficiency of DCR operations.
