Town of Arlington – Department of Public Works Facility

About This Project

The new Department of Public Works Facility for the Town of Arlington includes the construction of a new 34,000 SF DPW facility, including a 6,000 SF salt shed, and a new fueling station. The project also includes the rehabilitation of four town buildings, which exist on the site, totaling 41,000 SF. The renovation of one building includes a new server room for the town IT infrastructure. The project is being completed on a tight site in a congested area, and is adjacent to an occupied high school that is undergoing a large-scale construction project. The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and scope includes masonry restoration on 130-year-old existing buildings and coordination with a historical consultant.
