Commercial Renovation and Expansion

This project consists of the renovation, expansion, and mixed-use commercial conversion of an existing 3-story rivet factory. The conversion features a 2-story vertical addition to create the new 5-Story brick-and-beam commercial facility. 69A Street utilizes 21,000 Sq. Feet of the efficient, sustainable, and lightweight building material Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT). The project was conducted on an extremely constricted jobsite in South Boston located directly adjacent to an apartment complex and operational restaurant. Due to the limited laydown space, the team carefully coordinated all shipments and worked with surrounding business owners to mitigate any potential construction conflicts.
