About This Project
The phased renovation provided interior fit-ups throughout John Hancock’s occupied Back Bay office building. Scope includes rejuvenating much of the existing office space and converting some to include new conference rooms, corporate cafeteria, communicating staircase, fitness center, and TV production studios. Fitness center included the decommission and demolition of an escalator and structural infill in the main lobby of the building. Project phases were executed on accelerated schedules with double shifts, 7 days a week to complete on-time and on-budget.
