What is your favorite project you worked on and why?
When I worked for a Concrete Company, we did a couple of Avalon Bay Buildings. I really enjoyed the fact that I did payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and all the purchasing for the projects. They were large, long-duration projects. I liked being in all the aspects of the projects and working with everyone on the team especially the vendors, customers, and insurance company.

How did you get into construction?
A good friend of mine was having a hard time with the growth of his company and I was lucky enough to take the leap from the Gas Company to his Concrete Construction Company. The rest is history.

Who or what inspires you?
Being a role model for my kids so they see that hard work and perseverance has rewards! They make me want to succeed – so I set a good example.

What is one thing on your bucket list, and will you accomplish it?
I want to travel with my family to Switzerland, so my kids get to visit where their favorite Aunt and Uncle live. I am hoping to get to take the time to do this.
