What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?
I think most know but I am an avid baker at Christmas time I make about 50 dozen cookies to give out as gifts to my family and friends.  It’s my favorite tradition.

Who, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? And why?
I have so many answers for this one. I think I will go with my maternal grandfather. When I was born my father was in the air force, soon after my birth he was shipped to Vietnam, my mother and I lived with my grandparents while he was deployed. My grandfather worked nights and he took care of me during the day while my Mom was working. He had a massive heart attack when I was 6. To this day some of my most vivid childhood memories are about this special man who was a father and grandfather to a little girl. I didn’t see my father until I was 3 so he was the man in my young life. I would love him to know my life as an adult and meet my wonderful family.

How did you get into construction?
I was in a grocery store line with my 2 little girls, the CFO at AJ Martini was a woman I used to babysit for when I was younger, she was looking for a part-time accountant to run a division of Martini in New Mexico. I met with Paul Martini a week later to work 12 hours a week and have never looked back.

Who or what inspires you?
I am inspired by kindness, I think in a world that can be so mean that kindness really matters, I love to hear, read or witness acts of kindness. It truly fills my soul. I think more now than ever with social media, it is easy to get sucked in but to me the true standouts are people that are kind. I am inspired every day to do my small part of something greater.
