What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?
I love to draw, paint, you name it. When I was in high school, I considered going to art school, and I was voted “most artistic” by my class. I try to apply that creativity to developing creative solutions to problems. One day I’ll get back into drawing.

Who, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? And why?
My mother. She passed away 11 years ago from ovarian cancer. She was an incredible person and my best friend.

What is your favorite project you worked on and why?
The Merrimack Valley Recovery project. I was challenged with creating new systems to manage critical information, then train a large team, from all over the country that had never worked together – and it worked!  We worked a ton of hours and it was grueling at times, but we bonded as a team, and we all had a lot of pride in knowing we were helping the people in the community that had gone through so much devastation.

How did you get into construction?
I got into construction by pure chance. My mother was a chef, and my father was a superintendent. I worked for my father as a laborer on the weekends in my early twenties but never thought it would be my career path. Over twenty years ago, after working in offices in various roles, a recruiter set me up with an interview at a construction firm, and so it began.
