About This Project
Historic restoration and interior build-out of a former woodworking warehouse transformed the space into Tufts University’s new Collaborative Learning & Innovation Complex (CLIC). The project scope included complete exterior masonry restoration, structural repairs, extensive interior renovations, and demolition for parking lot space. An extensive coordination process was required to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing exposed MEP system within a tight time frame. The new, interdisciplinary research facility features state-of-the-art classrooms, common areas, and laboratories for physics and astronomy, occupational therapy, and community health capabilities for the campus community.
