A Registered Professional Engineer with more than 35 years in the industry, Mark has extensive experience in both the design and installation of MEP systems, which enables him to optimize mechanical designs for constructability. He leads our Engineering and Technical Services department, which encompasses our virtual design, engineering management systems, and technical design divisions. Mark’s role is critical because the MEP coordination process identifies any costly conflicts or risks on paper before they become a reality in the field.

He collaborates internally with our entire operations team and supports them with 3D modeling, 4D scheduling/timelines, laser scanning, and the overall design-assist support throughout the life of a project. Mark and his team are pulled into all of Commodore’s projects, from project conception, execution, to turnover.

What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?
My culinary expertise.

How did you get into construction?
It runs in the family.

Who or what inspires you?
My Dad.  He’s 83 years young, and still working a full schedule as a consulting engineer.

What is one thing on your bucket list and will you accomplish it?
Rent a villa in Tuscany for a month…and yes!
