What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?

I grew up with plenty of music in the family. My father and brother played the drums, my sister played the flute, and I played the alto saxophone. Over time, I also grew a love and secret talent for singing.

Who, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? And why?

My grandparents. I would love to be able to have a conversation with them now and introduce them to my daughter.

What is your favorite project you worked on and why?

As a young architect, I worked on the Liberty Wharf project in the Seaport District of Boston. It was my favorite project because the site came with a beautiful view of the Boston Harbor and was an incredible learning experience to build on a pier.

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

I once traveled in a helicopter through the Caucasus mountains, near the Russian Georgian border. Helicopter rides aren’t typically dangerous but navigating through snow covered mountain tops was a new and thrilling experience for me.
