Conversion of an existing biologics lab into a new chemistry lab in Biogen’s Bio6 facility. The team coordinated around and was cognizant of a kitchen and servery located directly below the demolition zone. Project included 30+ 8’ fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, solvent dispensing system with Class I Div. II storage, LN2 freezer room, high pressure CO2 distribution system, open office space, and an interior glass connector bridge between Buildings 6 and 6A. The bridge was constructed over an active cafeteria without disruption to ongoing operations.
