Odd Fellows Hall Historic Renovations
349-353 Main Street, Wakefield
About This Project
The historic renovation of Odd Fellows Hall, one of Wakefield’s oldest structures, was reconstructed for use as the bank’s administrative offices while successfully preserving its historic character. A fire destroyed the home office of the Savings Bank, requiring the entire interior framing to be removed without bracing the exterior walls. Interior space was completely reframed with steel structure and an additional floor was added inside the original cubic volume of the building.
