Lasell University Science & Technology Center
1844 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton
About This Project
The new state-of-the-art Science & Technology Center expands opportunities for active and project-based learning at Lasell College. The modern space includes labs for athletic training, exercise science, mathematics, chemistry, and biology courses, as well as a flex lab for multidisciplinary use. All work spaces were built to support Lasell’s Connected Learning Philosophy, or the capacity to facilitate collaboration and group work of any scale. Originally a three phased project, preconstruction developed an alternative approach of utilizing temporary modular units to relocate active classrooms, cutting time and cost under a new 1 phased process.
