Northeastern University Churchill Hall

This project involved partial demolition and renovation of two 1st floor auditoriums as well as renovations to bathrooms on the 1st and 4th floor in Northeastern University’s Churchill Hall. The renovation included the build-out of auditorium seating as well as the installation of acoustical panels and AV equipment for lecture and performance capabilities. A majority of the project scope encompassed fabricated millwork components and the construction of a decorative Chicago-style wood slat ceiling.

• Material procurement proved logistically challenging on this project with long lead times on fabricated millwork and acoustical panels
• Without ceiling access panels, the team carefully coordinated a pulley system for installation of MEP and light fixtures
