Their experience enables them to manage larger, more complex projects and to leverage the involvement of Project Executives.  They can manage larger teams, major accounts and multiple PMs. They know when to give direction and when to dig in.

Senior Project Managers are expected to function with greater autonomy and ownership. They are responsible for the overall business management of a project. Senior Project Managers are capable of resolving conflicts unassisted. They are client focused. They hold responsibility for developing long term relationships and for managing accounts. Senior Project Managers are technically skilled, mature leaders who motivate their teams and provide a model for excellence in execution.
