Harvard University Housing One Western Avenue

One Western Avenue is a 235-unit residential high-rise building housing graduate students on the Allston side of the campus. The renovation was divided into three sections for coordination and wayfinding named “Court”, “Bridge”, and “Tower”. In each segment the scope included complete renovations of all corridors and common areas including new carpet, paint, light fixtures, and ceiling tile. All construction occurred while the apartments were fully occupied, requiring the team to communicate with tenants and develop a floor-by-floor scheduling system.
