This project involved the interior and exterior renewal of a 1960s brick/precast dormitory building housing 105 freshmen. The interior scope included gut renovations to all bathrooms, creation of a common kitchen space, and reconfiguration of one main lounge and various smaller spaces around the building. The exterior scope included updated window units and new entrance doors. On a tight, summer-slammer schedule, careful coordination of long-lead items such as rooftop units and custom-ordered Italian tile was imperative to on-time completion.
