Who, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? And why?
Either Jack Kerouac or Miles Davis –  Legends. In my opinion two of the coolest people who ever lived and were cultural icons during a turning point in American history. I’d love to pick their brains over a few drinks. Specifically, they lived in a time when Americans were starting to find their voice – people started to travel more, rock and roll became more apparent, going against the status quo, etc. I’d like to hear their opinion on where we stand as a society today and if it’s what they envisioned for young people today.

What is your favorite project you worked on and why?
Linear Accelerator – Tufts Medical Center. By far the most challenging project I’ve ever been on, it wouldn’t have succeeded if not for long hours and a lot of teamwork. It also enhanced my industry knowledge dramatically.

How did you get into construction?
My family has always been in construction, it almost seemed like destiny! I was 14 when I started in construction coming to work during the Summer with my dad at the Markley Group in Boston. My first job ever including cleaning data center suites that they were building and stripping copper for scrapping. Eventually, I got a chance to work in just about every trade there is while building out clean rooms and data suites – I learned how to splice fiber before I learned how to drive a car.

Who or what inspires you?
My father, one of the hardest working people I know. He’s shown me what it means to take ownership and pride in your work.
