What is your favorite project you worked on and why?

Encore Casino! It was a complex project with multiple teams, full of challenging design elements, high-end imports and ultimately a new Boston landmark. Largest privately funded project in the state and had as many as 4 tower cranes and 1,200 trades-people on the job any given day.

How did you get into construction?

I originally got into construction from the design side. Self-taught CAD and BIM and applied those skills to small residential projects for friends and family, went to college for Architecture before changing majors to Construction Management to learn and impact the entire building process!

Who or what inspires you?

My grandparents – both sets immigrated from Italy before the age of 10. They were forced to learn a new language and way of life. They successfully completed schooling, found work, raised families, sent all of their children to college and even started their own companies with only a 9th grade education.

What is one thing on your bucket list and will you accomplish it?

Refurbish an airstream or camping van and travel across the country. Sometimes the best perspectives are in our own backyard.
