What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?
I used to competitively run cross country throughout high school and college. Post college, I’ve run ten half marathons and three 10 Mile Tough Mudders. My next goal is to run a marathon!

What is your favorite project you worked on and why?

My favorite projects that I’ve worked on are the Mission Critical projects, Data Centers. These were my favorite because I got to meet a bunch of talented subcontractors all over the country and learn from their experiences. The complexity of the MEP systems were insane because of the phasing, coordination, and fast pace turnover.

How did you get into construction?

I grew up around construction. My father was a carpenter, and my mom works for a general contractor. I’ve always loved looking at construction sites and helping with renovation projects when I was young. I studied Civil Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a focus in structural, geotechnical, and construction management. I interned with Suffolk Construction and I decided to land in estimating full-time because I enjoy seeing how the process of a project starts from the very beginning/early stages to the final construction.

What is one thing on your bucket list and will you accomplish it?

I would love to go to Ireland one day to learn more about my family’s history. I would also love to travel to each continent.

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

The craziest thing I’ve ever done was jumping out of plane willingly! I went skydiving with a bunch of my friends one summer because we wanted to face our fear of falling and heights!
