Who, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most? And why?

With my older brother, Birhanu Ephrem, he is amazing and well experienced person. Also, he is my real model on my educational career with strong work ethics.

What is your favorite project you worked on and why?

GLX project (Green Line Extension) because it was my first field experience as a field engineer, and I have learned a lot on job site. All challenges are giving you an opportunity to learn something and help you to develop a solution.

How did you get into construction?

Joining to construction industry was my dream since I was in high school. I grow up by observing undeveloped my neighborhood, then I decided to study civil engineering to join a construction industry and hoping to help the community.

Who or what inspires you?

Academically, my older brother, Birhanu inspired me since he was the first person in the family to join College. Also, one of my neighbors, Dr. Dereje also inspired me to be an engineer when I was in high school. I used to see him with PPE and drawing plan while he was supervised bridge construction project on the street.
