Nic + Zoe is an American fashion brand proudly rooted in Boston. Commodore was selected for the fit-out of the first retail store within the existing, occupied Chestnut Hill Mall.

The project involved three months of preconstruction, followed by the fit-out. The project was constructed inside of the mall, with only one point of entry to the site, which made logistics planning and scheduling very important.

The accelerated schedule required meticulous planning with vendors and subcontractors, and the success and organization of the project allowed the store to open a week earlier than originally planned.

The project included barricade, demolition, new storefront, ACT/Gyp ceilings, FOH & BOH millwork, new lighting and wood/tile/VCT flooring. In addition, there were minor modifications to HVAC systems.
