Room & Board at 375 Newbury Street was a 40,000 SF single tenant build-out of the historic Sherman Building built in 1906. The project featured a steel monumental circulation staircase that is visible from outside the building; a column supporting the monumental stair is wrapped in maple from the 4th floor all the way down to the basement.
The second floor included a terrace, which showcases outdoor furniture. Additional highlights included end grain wood and maple plank flooring throughout the store. The build-out included extensive MEP systems with heat pumps, restrooms on each floor and track lighting throughout the space.
