This project was executed by A.J. Martini, Inc. prior to being acquired by Commodore in 2012.
The 24,500 SF facility houses the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and New Hampshire Oncology-Hematology venture at the Eliot Medical Center in Londonderry, NH. Originally built as Phase 2 medical office shell space, the change of end user space dictated the installation of completely new mechanical, HVAC and electrical systems to support the cancer treatment center.
The project was completed on a fast-track, six-month schedule. The scope of work included the construction of 20 treatment/infusion rooms, 10 exam rooms, an isolation room, a clinical trial area, three nurses’ stations and a pharmacy. Patient and service elevators, a family resource library, counseling center and a boutique round out the service areas in the new clinic.
