Our commitment to community service starts at the top of our organization, with our CEO, Joe Albanese. He spent 28 years as a military officer. In October 2007, Joe returned to Commodore after serving eight months in Kuwait. For those of us who usually remain a little closer to home, we’re always looking for ways to put our own commitment to community service into action.
In 2008, we launched the 24 Hour Club. The program encourages our people to engage and to give back to the community. When a Commodore employee completes 24 hours of community service on their own time during the year, Commodore rewards their effort with three extra vacation days! Community service is important to Commodore and the 24 Hour Club is one way we express how much we value the individual contributions of our people.
